OVERALL EXPECTATIONS
A1. describe some of the ways in which people’s roles, relationships, and responsibilities relate to who they are and what their situation is, and how and why changes in circumstances might affect people’s roles, relationships, and responsibilities as well as their sense of self
A2. use the social studies inquiry process to investigate some aspects of the interrelationship between their identity/sense of self, their different roles, relationships, and responsibilities, and various situations in their daily lives
A3. 
demonstrate an understanding that they and other people have different roles, relationships, and responsibilities, and that all people should be treated with respect, regardless of their roles, relationships, and responsibilities

RULE: A guide/habit/instruction that keeps us safe and things orderly
ROLE: A job
RESPONSIBILITY: Things (duties, chores, etc.) someone should do to be successful at their job/role 
RIGHTS: Things that everyone deserves no matter who they are
CAUSE AND EFFECT: An action that causes a reaction. For example, if we're not responsible with our teeth, a problem such as a cavity might arise :(
RESPECT: The act of giving attention or showing care in a friendly and positive manner

1)What is your role (job)?
2)Describe your average day and the major responsibilities (duties, chores, etc.) that you need to do in order to be successful at your job?
3)What are your employees rights (things that everyone deserves no matter who they are)?
4)How have your responsibilities changed between your old clinic and your new clinic? 
5)We've discussed and defined "cause and effect" as an action that produces a reaction. For example, if we're not responsible with our teeth, a problem such as a cavity might arise. Can you offer up an example of a cause/action that resulted in something positive? Can you offer up an example of a cause/action that resulted in a negative outcome?
6)How does your current role and responsibilities shape who you are?
7)Why is it important to show respect to employees within your workplace?
8)What are your responsibilities to the community in which you work? 
9)How do you work together to help in meeting the needs of your community?
